Provider Code of Conduct

Last updated: September 18, 2026

Purpose

Every provider listed on Bharosa Hai agrees to this Code of Conduct. Listing here comes with obligations, and we enforce them. Breaches can lead to a warning, suspension, removal or withdrawal of the Trust Badge.

1. Quote Honestly

Give a realistic fee range and scope up front. Bait-and-switch pricing — quoting low to win an enquiry, then inflating the price — is prohibited and gets you removed.

2. Stay in Your Competence

Do not accept work you cannot do properly. List only the categories and sub-categories you genuinely practise in.

3. Respond or Decline

Leaving enquiries unanswered wastes people's time. Respond to enquiries promptly, or decline them. Persistent non-response affects your ranking on the platform.

4. Serve Only the Areas You List

List only the tehsils, towns and localities you actually serve. Listing areas you don't serve leads to complaints and removal.

5. Keep Your Credentials Current

If your professional registration lapses, tell us. We re-verify credentials periodically, and a Trust Badge can be withdrawn if credentials are no longer valid.

6. Never Claim Government Influence

Any provider suggesting they can influence an official decision through unofficial means — a tehsil entry, a court outcome, a municipal approval — is removed permanently, with no appeal.

7. Treat Clients with Respect

Communicate professionally and honestly. Discrimination, harassment or misleading claims are not tolerated.

Enforcement

Substantiated complaints are investigated under our Grievance Redressal Policy. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, suspend or remove the provider, and withdraw the Trust Badge.
